FACS LSR-II

The FACS LSR-II is our high through put system where more colors can be analyzed at the same time. The software and philosophy behind this instrument is somewhat different from the Calibur and training is needed, also for experienced users, before you can use the instrument.

  • Coherent Sapphire 488 nm, air cooled laser (20 mW)

Optical system

  • Detection of 10 FL-parameters
  • Detection of forward scatter light (FSC) with photo diode
  • Direction of side scatter light (SSC) and fluorescence signal towards PMTs

We do have additional bandpass filters that, on request, can be used in the instrument.

* Each color is just an example, you should ensure that you are using the right colors by checking the filter setting.

High Throughput Option 

  • The High Throughput Sampler (HTS) option is installed to increase your productivity by acquiring samples from a 96-well microtiter plate.
